Pumpkin Carving Tradition
Honestly I have not ditched this blog. I know I have lost most of my faithful followers due to a lack of entries but I have been making up for lost time with my photography blog that has taken most of my time to get up and going. It is active and I have it under control so I will be back here way more often. For those of you that are close to our family thank for all your prayers and thoughts. We are already planning a mongo, gargantous, New Years party saying good bye and good riddens to 2008 and welcoming in a new year. We have grown a lot this year and been pressed to the limits and that is how growth and maturity take place. I gues we will be very big and wise by the end of this year.
For me the day after Holloween marks the begining of the Christmas season and I will be starting the Christmas music tomorrow. Can't wait. Do to all that has happened this year it will be a modest Christmas and we will be staying close to home.
As any of you who have followed this blog for years know we have an annual pumpkin carving party at my sisters house. Some years it is bigger than others and this year was one of the smaller ones but no less fun. We had some great entries. Zack and his friend Calib did a bat cave, Lexi did a bat, uncle Bill did a Mummy and this year I tackled a frog. All in all I think they came out well. We had a cool and rainy night last night. A rare thing here on Maui but got us in the fall spirit. Here are a few shots.
